Boston Red Sox Photography: Tuesday, June 6, 2012 vs. Baltimore Orioles.

We had an exiting game yesterday between the Red Sox and the hometown hero Orioles. It was back and forth all night until Jarrod Saltalamacchia hit a two run home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to tie the game. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending whose side I’m on – I’m still conflicted), the homer wasn’t enough and the Orioles were able to lock up the win the next inning.
It was nice to have the birds in town and to see some orange and black at Fenway. I parked myself in an empty seat in the front row next to the Sox dugout, and that’s where I stayed for most of the game. It turned out to be a good spot because two fans with orange Eddie Murray jerseys sat down right next to me.
So, I made some nice frames as I shot baseball while watching the Celtics/Heat game on the TV in front of my seat. Not a bad night. This game’s “Thing I Learned”: I should hang out around that dugout area more often. There’s definitely some nice portraits to be made there.
