Here are a few of my images from the end of this year’s AFC Championship Game at Gillette Stadium between the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers. I was at the game as an editor for Pittsburgh Steelers Team Photographer and all around good guy, Karl Roser.
I know what it’s like to work directly for a team, and I know that as a photographer or social media editor, your job can be really tough when things don’t go your team’s way on the field. Unfortunately, that was the case in this game, as Tom Brady and the Patriots rolled past Pittsburgh on their way to the Super Bowl.
At the end of the game, there weren’t any pictures (from a Steelers PR standpoint) to post, so I was free to shoot some features of the Pats celebrations and trophy ceremony. There were a few nice moments with some of the guys. Thanks again to Karl and the Steelers for having me on board!
