Chris Sale pitched two scoreless innings as the starter for the American League in this year’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Starting in centerfield, Mookie Betts turned a catch and throw double play, and closer Craig Kimbrel recorded the win after shutting down the National League in the ninth inning.
Here is a gallery of images from the game. It was fun to shoot my second consecutive All-Star Game week! It’s always great to catch up with all of the photographers from across the country that come together to shoot the game. I’m also glad to have seen a new city, and spend some time away from the ballpark with some of my favorite people.
The second half of the season begins now!
