Boston Red Sox Photos: 2018 American League Division Series Game Four vs. New York Yankees.
Here are my photos from game four of the American League Division Series between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. Wow, what a game, and what a night to be a part of. After a strong start by Rick Porcello, a collaborative bullpen effort including an eighth inning appearance by Chris Sale, and timely hitting, the Red Sox held on to win 4-3 and clinch their spot in the American League Championship Series against the Houston Astros. After the game, the celebration was in full force on the field and in the clubhouse. These nights are so fun to shoot, and last night was a special one. We flew straight home after the game and I was in bed by 5 A.M., so I’m exhausted right now. Time to relax for a night before getting ready for what should be a wild series against Houston.

Brock Holt became the first player in Major League history to hit for the cycle in a postseason game, leading the Red Sox offensive charge to a 16–1 victory over the New York Yankees in game three of the American League Series at Yankee Stadium. Starter Nathan Eovaldi mowed through the Yankees lineup, allowing just run one over seven innings pitched. This was a fun one to be at! We look to clinch and advance to the ALCS tomorrow night.

Photos: Boston Red Sox Projections In Various Boston Locations.
This week, the Red Sox executed a five-night “wallscape” installation by projecting portraits of players and moments from the record-setting 2018 regular season onto buildings and in public spaces throughout Boston and Cambridge.
The series of projections included Mookie Betts’ reaction to his grand slam after his 13-pitch at-bat on July 12 against the Toronto Blue Jays, countless post-game Gatorade moments, Brock Holt celebrating with Andrew Benintendi following the left fielders walk-off home run on August 6 against the New York Yankees, and Jackie Bradley Jr.’s athletic catch in centerfield Memorial Day weekend.
The wallscape project was inspired by Erik Jacobs and his #standswithimmigrants campaign that included a projection of David Ortiz’s image on the field at Fenway Park.
This was such a fun project to be a part of. It’s neat to see your own images projected on such scale on buildings and landmarks throughout the city. Kudos to our marketing department on a great creative collaborative effort!

Photos: ALDS Game Two – Boston Red Sox vs. Tampa Bay Rays.
It was another great one at Fenway Park last night, as the Red Sox kept rolling to beat David Price and the Tampa Bay Rays to take a 2-0 series lead in the American League Division Series.
There’s something about this team. They always seem to come up with the timeliest hits and big defensive plays when they need them most. They’ve done that all season, and it’s been more of the same so far this series. David Ortiz was clutch in game two, hitting home runs in both the first and eighth innings. His first one really set the tone and got the crowd into the game early.
Atmosphere is a huge part of the playoffs, so I’m aiming to show that through my photos. Although shooting the regular, tight action photos is necessary, I’ve also been liking the look of these loose action photos that show the crowd and ambience as well.
Hopefully, I’ll have more chances to play around with that balance in the coming days. The team is down in Tampa right now. One win and we’re on to the ALCS!
