Last year’s Wimbledon champion and home town hero Andy Murray is out of the tournament, as he lost in straight sets this afternoon to Grigor Dimitrov.

These are just a few scenes from the aftermath. My job was to follow him around as best as I could as he left the grounds of the All England Club.

I’m here in London, England, where I’m lucky enough to be photographing my third straight Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

This year, I’m working as a member of the official tournament photography staff, which shoots for both the tournament website, wimbledon.com, as well as for marketing and publications within the All England Lawn and Tennis Club. This is my first year working for this department, so it’s needless to say that I’m thrilled to have this opportunity.

Today was my first day shooting, so I spent it getting my bearings and learning the new system. These photos are a mix of activity out on the practice courts and a few introductory press conferences.

I don’t have much time to write for this post, but it’s been an amazing, incredibly busy, memorable first week here at Wimbledon. Here’s a look at the action I saw around the grounds on Day Six.
