Happy Opening Day!

Boston welcomed their beloved Red Sox to a warm return yesterday in a festive Opening Day at Fenway Park. Pre-game ceremonies included a special ceremonial first pitch by four Boston sports legends – Bobby Orr of the Boston Bruins, Ty Law of the New England Patriots, Bill Russell of the Boston Celtics, and David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox. In an emotional moment, Ortiz was surprised by his daughter, Alex, who sang the National Anthem before the game. Although the Sox were unable to pull out a win against the undefeated Baltimore Orioles, the day marked the start of the final campaign for Big Papi, and the beginning of what should be an exciting season.

It’s always a long day for us. We didn’t get much cooperation from the weather for our annual sunrise photo, but it was still a lot of fun to be back at it. There will be a ton of content to come from this season!
