Happy to share new portrait work for the Boston Red Sox. This year, we created a colorful, euphoric look to compliment our creative aesthetic for the year. With continuous LED lighting, prisms, and materials including cellophane and curtains, I created these hazy, colorful portraits marked by lens flares and reflections. Mutliple LED screens rotating through multi-colored gradient patterns created the variations in coloring throughout the series.
Great work from our creative team all around to pull together this shoot with just three days notice.
Here is a gallery of images shot for a recent story on former New England Patriots wide receiver, Chris Hogan. Hogan, who spent nearly ten years in the NFL and won two Super Bowls, is now a member of the Cannons Lacrosse Club in the Premier Lacrosse League.
These visuals accompanied a written story in both the print and digital Sunday editions of The New York Times. Here is a link to the full story online, written by reporter Marisa Ingemi. A big thanks to the picture desk at the Times for having me shoot the story.
Earlier this year, I was commissioned to shoot portraits of Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker for advertising and point of sale usage for BODYARMOR Sports Drink. The entire shoot was produced in one day, all working under strict COVID-19 safety protocols. A big thank you to BODYARMOR for having me on board, and to Kemba for being so great to work with.
Above is the final set of images and social GIFs from the shoot.
