PHOTOS: COPA AMERICA CENTENARIO – Argentina vs. Venezuela.

Here are some images from last night’s Copa America Centenario quarter-final match between Argentina and Venezuela. I covered the game for Getty Images Latin America.

It was amazing to watch Argentina, and Lionel Messi (arguably the best footballer in the world), play. The amount of talent packed into that team, and Messi in particular, is unbelievable.

Nothing too crazy, but a dominant performance by Argentina made for some solid images. I had a great time shooting!

Here are images from another Copa America Centenario match at Gillette Stadium this weekend, this time between the National teams of Brazil and Peru. Brazil came into this one the heavy favorites, but were stunned with a 1-0 loss on a controversial potential hand-ball goal from Peru.

I had a good time shooting this game for Getty Images Latin America! Thanks for having me on board.

Photos: Copa America Centenario – Chile vs. Bolivia.

The Copa American Centenario is happening across the United States, and list night, Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts played host to a match between the Chilean and Bolivian national teams.

Bolivia came into this game as the clear underdog, but played Chile very tight, which made for an exciting game. If not for an unfortunate penalty call late in the game to allow Chilean star Artruro Vidal to score the game winner on a penalty kick, they could have had a chance to win. The moment did make for a nice picture, though, as Vidal turned right to where I was shooting from.

It was nice to get a break from baseball, and it’s always great to shoot for the team at Getty Images. More soccer for me coming up on Sunday night – Brazil vs. Peru!
