Well, this was a homestand to forget for the Red Sox. A seven game losing streak has not translated well for photos, but it’s a marathon season and there’s still a long way to go.
In the meantime, here are a few from yesterday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
Boston Red Sox Photos: Saturday, May 3, 2014 vs. Oakland Athletics.
We had a good game yesterday at Fenway Park, as Jon Lester struck out fifteen batters and Jonny Gomes hit a grand slam to lead the Red Sox to a win over the Oakland Athletics.
A nice day for pictures – good light and good action!
Boston Red Sox Photos: Thursday, May 1, 2014 vs. Tampa Bay Rays.
Here are the photo highlights from what proved to be a very long double header for the Boston Red Sox yesterday against the Tampa Bay Rays. Although both games one and two were close, in the end neither of them went the Red Sox way.
Onto the Oakland Athletics this weekend!
Photos and Video: Boston Marathon Weekend at Fenway Park.

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since the bombings at the finish line of the Boston Marathon. There were lots of things happening at the park in what was overall quite a festive weekend.
It’s amazing to see what a difference just one year can make in people’s lives. Here are my photos and videos from all the highlights this weekend.
Photos: 2014 BNP Paribas Open – Day 4.
Lots of activity on the grounds yesterday at the BNP Paribas Open. The day began with an exciting doubles match on the brand new stadium 2 featuring fellow countrymen Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka.
Not much more time to post, but these are the highlights!
Boston Red Sox Photos: Monday, July 29, 2013 vs. Tampa Bay Rays.
It’s seems like the Tampa Bay Rays have replaced the Yankees as the Red Sox’ biggest rivals. Last night was a sure sign that things between the two teams atop the AL East are starting to heat up.
After an incredibly beautiful few innings of sunsets and cloud formations followed by a torrential downpour and subsequent rain delay, the Sox put a rally together to try and tie the game up at 2-2. It seems as though that would have happened in the eighth inning but for a self-admitted blown call by home plate umpire Jerry Meals on a play at the plate.
From my post at third base, it looked like Daniel Nava, who tried to score on a sacrifice fly, was safe. Who knows. Regardless, it was an eventful night for photos despite a low score.
Let’s hope the Sox stay competitive down the stretch. I’m looking forward to shooting this playoff race.
Baltimore Orioles Photography: Friday, July 22, 2011 vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
This game was so slow for the Orioles that I ended up only saving about 50 images total. There was essentially no action to shoot whatsoever, so I fooled around a bit and shot some things that I normally don’t.
This frame of Markakis is nothing special, but visually, it’s the most exciting thing I got from the night. I also wanted to post it to prove that I didn’t just take pictures of fans all game.
I got lucky, though, and caught a few nice moments with kids sitting in sections near the outside first base photo pit.
This game’s “Thing I Learned:” It’s important to remember that there’s a lot going on besides what’s happening on the field. It doesn’t hurt to look behind you from time to time.
