This is a video I co-shot and edited from the second annual Wearables in Healthcare Pilot Challenge, held at the Google Inc. headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The event allowed guests to live demo some incredible wearable products and pieces, including Google Glass. It also featured pitches from ten finalists, who presented creative and innovative ways to use these products to further the medical and healthcare profession.
I was asked to produce a short recap video for MedTech Boston and Medstro, the wonderful producers of the event. This video is a good representation of what happened throughout the night, but can also serve to promote future events of this type.
The backdrop of the hip, trendy Google offices allowed for the creativity to flow naturally for this video. The locked off shots are mine, and the smooth Steadicam shots are done by Boston Red Sox video productions member, Kellan Reck. It’s a healthy mix of the two styles, with some time lapse and GoPro footage mixed in.
Thanks to MedTech Boston, Medstro, and Google for having me out!
