Video & Photos: Laver Cup Promo – Chicago, Illinois.
I’m recently back from Chicago, Illinois (my first time in the city, why did I wait so long?) after shooting a promotional event for the Laver Cup, a newly created professional tennis international competition created last year. After the cup’s initial kickoff in Prague last year, the second installment of the event will take place this coming September in the Windy City.
This was a whirlwind! Our content crew had about for hours to document World No. 1 tennis player Roger Federer, World No. 2 Nick Kyrgios, and tennis hall of famers John McEnroe and Rod Laver as they squeezed in stops at Chicago’s Navy Pier, Lou Malnati’s famous Chicago Pizza, the Chicago Bean, the the Chicago Bulls locker room at the United Center to meet Scottie Pippen, and the Chicago Theatre to visit European soccer star Bastian Schweinsteiger. Throw in a press conference at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel with NBC Sports Host Mike Tirico and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and you have yourself a full day.
Here is the video piece, which is a great collaborative effort by the staffs at MVT PR, Tried & True TV, 309 Productions, and the Laver Cup. A huge thanks to Drew Carlisle for having me on board to work with the über talented production crew of Lauren Foley, Ian Davidson, Joe Miller, Dustin Berta, and Mark Riedy. And a big shoutout to our producers Kellie Morgan and Prue Ryan for making it all come together!
I’ve also included some still frames I was able to fire off in between shooting video clips.
PHOTOS: 2016 CONNECTICUT OPEN TENNIS – DAY 7.
Here are photos from my final day of the 2016 Connecticut Open. The day concluded with the men’s legends event, which featured Connecticut local and former top 10 player, James Blake, and John McEnroe. It’s always great to work with these guys.
Now I’m back in Boston for more Red Sox baseball. I’m sad to be missing the final weekend in New Haven, but had a great time shooting for a great team full of very talented, hardworking individuals.
Until next time.

Here are photos from Day 6 out here in Indian Wells! We had all the big names on court yesterday, capped off by a tight three set win from Rafael Nadal. Another busy one today.

Here is a gallery of all the action yesterday at the BNP Paribas Open. These are some selects from Kids Day, as well as the McEnroe Challenge for charity.
More to come!

I’ve returned to beautiful, sunny Palm Springs, California, where I’m here to shoot my third BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament. After a long, tough winter in Boston, naturally I’m thrilled to be out here shooting tennis in the sunshine for a few weeks.
This is one of the best tournaments on tour, so I’m excited to get some really good photo and video coverage for the tournament website, social media channels, and marketing materials.
I’m here a week before the tournament starts to cover several things happening, including the second annual John McEnroe Challenge for Charity, which brings former tennis stars and current players together for a night of exhibition matches to raise money for various charities. Last night was the draw ceremony and VIP reception for the event, so I’ve included a few pictures from that. John McEnroe was of course in the house, along with James Blake, Andy Roddick, Tracy Austin, Lindsay Davenport, Rick Leach, Coco Vandeweghe, and others.
I’ll be sure to post updates daily as the tournament goes on!

Sunday, March 16, 2014 in Indian Wells, California.”
I’m 30,000 feet above somewhere in the middle of the country, flying back to freezing cold Boston after an unforgettable three weeks working at the 2014 BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California.

Another busy but exciting day at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden yesterday. I was on hand to shoot the McEnroe Challenge for charity, which featured the unveiling of a mural of John McEnroe on the tournament grounds, an opening commemorating the first match played on the newly constructed Stadium 2, and exhibition matches with former tennis legends including Jim Courier.
I also shot Kids Day earlier in the afternoon, which made for some fun, refreshing images.
A fun day overall!

Good morning from Palm Springs, California, where I’m here for the next three weeks shooting photo and video for the tournament website and social media outlets at the BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament. I’m really happy to come back here after a great few weeks at this tournament last year.
I’m out here a few days early to cover events related to the grand opening of a brand new Stadium 2, seen above, as well as some incredibly impressive expansions to the grounds at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, which we’ll be documenting more as the tournament goes on.
Last night, I shot the opening draw ceremony to the McEnroe Challenge for Charity, an exhibition match with former tennis legends who will play to raise money for four different charities.
It’s great to be back into tennis season! Lots more to come over the next several weeks.
Photos: The Championships Wimbledon 2013 – Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
Things really picked up here on Day Two of the Championships. Matches aside, there were what seemed like endless events, appearances, and happenings around the grounds.
Here are my favorites from the day. By now, I’ve shot several major tennis tournaments, but there are days when I still need to pinch myself. It’s a bit surreal being so close to so many well known people.
Until tomorrow!

Hard to believe, but we’re underway here at Wimbledon. The gates at the All England Lawn & Tennis Club opened up today for Day One of the 2013 Championships.
The first few days of the Slams are always pretty hectic, so I’m going to keep this post short for now. It’s great to be out here.
Enjoy the photos!
