Photos: Boston Red Sox Holiday Caravan.

Last week, the Red Sox hit the road for their annual Holiday Caravan, which brings players to local hospitals and community centers to visit patients and kids.

Pitchers Noe Ramirez and Robbie Ross Jr. and infielder Deven Marrero participated this year. They were also accompanied for a few of the stops by newly acquired all-star reliever, Craig Kimbrel.

Over the two days, we visited Boston Children’s Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Shriner’s Hospital for Children, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Medical Center, and the Base, a baseball training center for urban youth.

This is a long few days for everyone involved, but it’s a nice thing that the team does, especially at this time of year. I always think it really makes a difference, no matter how cliché that sounds.

Here are some photos.
