Boston Red Sox head groundskeeper Dave Mellor and his team created a stencil in the outfield grass in recognition of Nurses and other front line responders amidst the coronavirus pandemic. The pattern features a socially distanced version of the Red Sox hanging sox logo, and a message displaying “❤ Nurses.” Below are some aerial images and photos of the field, as our photo and video team was granted special access to the empty ballpark.
