I’m in Queens, New York for another installment of the US Open Tennis Championships! I always love coming here to shoot. This year, I’m only here for a quick two days as my schedule allows, so I’m trying to make the most of it. Yesterday, my job was to roam the grounds and shoot a combination of good features and match action. Here are some favorites from my take.
Here is my stuff from Day 4, which featured the biggest match of the tournament so far – a show down between Rafael Nadal of Spain and Nick Kyrgios of Australia. Drew Carlisle of Tried & True and I decided to tag team an epic video to tell the story of the match. Both of us shot high definition footage, and Drew edited the pice above.
The tennis rolls on! Yesterday, I followed Rafael Nadal and Nick Kyrgios around during their practice sessions to crate a minute long sizzle reel ahead of their much anticipated match today on Centre Court.
Here is a gallery from my third and final day of the 2017 US Open Tennis Championships. A big thanks to the USTA and the amazing photo team for including me. It’s an honor to be just a small part on a hard working, talented team like this one is.
I’ll be sad to miss the rest of the tennis, but excited to be back in Boston for a busy month of September!
I’m back in Indian Wells, California, to shoot my fifth BNP Paribas Open tennis tournament. It’s been a whirlwind journey getting here, coming straight from almost a month at Red Sox Spring Training. I’m feeling tired, but glad to be here to shoot. Here’s a few from the first day. Nothing great. Just getting warmed up.
