2019 US Open Tennis Championships Photos: Friday, August 30, 2019.

Another day of action here at the grounds! I was on for the night session, but came in early in the day to catch Roger Federer and a bit of Serena Williams playing in the light (and a quick glimpse of Kobe). Here is my take from the day and night together.

I wish I had a few more days in me here! A big thanks to the US Open and the super talented photo content team for having me on board again. It’s always a pleasure. And now the drive back to Boston begins.

The Championships Wimbledon 2019: Day 2 – July 2, 2019.

Here is some visual work from Day 2 at Wimbledon! The first piece is a quick 60 second video hit on the return of Wimbledon defending Champion, Angelique Kerber. I also shot a few photos of some famous people.

Video & Photos: Laver Cup Promo – Chicago, Illinois.

I’m recently back from Chicago, Illinois (my first time in the city, why did I wait so long?) after shooting a promotional event for the Laver Cup, a newly created professional tennis international competition created last year. After the cup’s initial kickoff in Prague last year, the second installment of the event will take place this coming September in the Windy City.

This was a whirlwind! Our content crew had about for hours to document World No. 1 tennis player Roger Federer, World No. 2 Nick Kyrgios, and tennis hall of famers John McEnroe and Rod Laver as they squeezed in stops at Chicago’s Navy Pier, Lou Malnati’s famous Chicago Pizza, the Chicago Bean, the the Chicago Bulls locker room at the United Center to meet Scottie Pippen, and the Chicago Theatre to visit European soccer star Bastian Schweinsteiger. Throw in a press conference at the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel with NBC Sports Host Mike Tirico and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and you have yourself a full day.

Here is the video piece, which is a great collaborative effort by the staffs at MVT PR, Tried & True TV, 309 Productions, and the Laver Cup. A huge thanks to Drew Carlisle for having me on board to work with the über talented production crew of Lauren Foley, Ian Davidson, Joe Miller, Dustin Berta, and Mark Riedy. And a big shoutout to our producers Kellie Morgan and Prue Ryan for making it all come together!

I’ve also included some still frames I was able to fire off in between shooting video clips.

2017 US OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS PHOTOS: THURSDAY, AUGUST 31, 2017.

Here is a gallery from my third and final day of the 2017 US Open Tennis Championships. A big thanks to the USTA and the amazing photo team for including me. It’s an honor to be just a small part on a hard working, talented team like this one is.

I’ll be sad to miss the rest of the tennis, but excited to be back in Boston for a busy month of September!

2017 US Open Tennis Championships Photos: Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

I’m in New York City, where I’m back to shoot the US Open Tennis Championships for the first time since 2012. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long. I’ve shot a lot of tennis between now and then, just not here at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Being here brings back the memories of the start to my photography career and work in tennis. I first worked at this tournament when I was just 19 years old. That’s scary.

Unfortunately, I’m only here for three days, as that’s what my schedule will allow, but I’m very thankful to the awesome US Open web and photography team for having me back. I plan to make the most of it during these three days! Last night was a good start, as Roger Federer outlasted up and comer Frances Tiafoe in a crazy five set match on Arthur Ashe.

More today!

2017 BNP Paribas Open: Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

Yesterday was another full day of tennis in Indian Wells. Roger Federer wiped Rafael Nadal off the court. It’s always a fun match up to shoot.

2017 BNP Paribas Open: Tuesday, March 14, 2017.

Another big day of tennis yesterday. Here are a few favorites from the day.

2017 BNP Paribas Open: Sunday, March 12, 2017.

Here are some images from my third day out here at Indian Wells. A decent, very hot, day of shooting.

2015 BNP Paribas Open – Day 15.

Above is a gallery of photos from both the men’s and women’s singles finals matches at the 2015 BNP Paribas Open. I’m a bit late in posting these, but it’s been a crazy few days of traveling and getting back into the swing of things in Boston.

Sunday made for an amazing day of tennis, with two back and forth, three set matches. In the end, Simona Halep and Novak Djokovic were able to pull off wins against Jelena Jankovic and Roger Federer. These are some of my favorites from the day.

And with that, the tournament comes to a close! Indian Wells has a special place in my heart, and just like years before, my experience working for the tournament web and social media team was incredible. It was long days in 90 plus degree heat, tired legs and sore shoulders. But it was also amazing tennis, unparalleled access, and genuinely great people to work with.

I believe that any place or experience is only as good as the people it’s shared with, and the team of writers, photographers, editors, social media specialists, and public relations experts that I am lucky to be a part of is second to none. I owe many thanks to each person on our team. They are all talented, creative, hard working, and fun to be around.

I hope I’m able to continue working in tennis in the future!

2015 BNP Paribas Open – Day 14.

Here are photos from the men’s semi-finals and the men’s and women’s doubles finals. Not a lot of time to post so this is a rough cut!
