It feels good to be through the middle weekend here at Indian Wells, which was packed with lots of incredible tennis action. I shot a good balance of tennis and fan and around the grounds features yesterday. Here’s a selection.
On to some more good tennis this week!
This was another busy day which had me running every which way around the grounds. This is a quick bite of everything I shot on Day 7.
There wasn’t much time for me to shoot on-court action on Day 6. Instead, I was mostly occupied with off-court events, promotions, and corporate and sponsorship photos needed for the tournament.
These are a few that I did manage to get from the day’s tennis action.
I don’t have much time to post, but I wanted to get this out to get caught up. These are just a few snaps from yesterday’s action at the New Haven Open.
It was another busy one out at the Championships Wimbledon today, but an exciting one to say the least.
I was able to get out early in the morning and roam the grounds while they were still empty. It’s so easy to get caught up in the stress and hustle and bustle of the media workroom and forget what a beautiful place the All England Club really is. Walking around and shooting by myself before the crowds got in was therapeutic, and definitely put me in the right mindset for the rest of the day.
The photos above are a mix of what I shot throughout the day, including a visit by the Golden Bear himself, Jack Nicklaus.
Tomorrow I’ll be shooting video, which I’ve done periodically throughout this tournament. I plan to post all my video work from this year’s Wimbledon to the blog when I have a better internet connection and some more time. Until tomorrow!
Here are a few favorites from Day 2 at the US Open. I had a pretty busy day, but got to shoot some really exciting matches, including a five set battle between Juan Monaco and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez on Grandstand and a solid victory by American Sloane Stephens on Louis Armstrong.
