Here’s a gallery from the final game of the home stand last week. An incredible sunset made for a few good innings of light to work with.

Photos: 2013 World Series – Game 3.
It was an absolutely crazy ending to a back and forth game three of the World Series out here in St. Louis. I don’t know what to make of how the game ended, and don’t have much time to post about it right now.
Here are the photos I shot from my elevated position along the first base line at Busch Stadium. We’ll see how it goes tonight. Hoping for a Red Sox win to even the series!

Happy 2013 World Series!
Things are buzzing at Fenway Park in anticipation of game one tonight between the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals. Yesterday, we were busy shooting team media day and press conferences, as well as the team workout.
After a brief patch of rain, the skies did all sorts of crazy things, and we were treated to one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen and a rainbow over the park to boot. Let’s hope that’s a good luck omen for the Sox!
Boston Red Sox Photos: Monday, July 29, 2013 vs. Tampa Bay Rays.
It’s seems like the Tampa Bay Rays have replaced the Yankees as the Red Sox’ biggest rivals. Last night was a sure sign that things between the two teams atop the AL East are starting to heat up.
After an incredibly beautiful few innings of sunsets and cloud formations followed by a torrential downpour and subsequent rain delay, the Sox put a rally together to try and tie the game up at 2-2. It seems as though that would have happened in the eighth inning but for a self-admitted blown call by home plate umpire Jerry Meals on a play at the plate.
From my post at third base, it looked like Daniel Nava, who tried to score on a sacrifice fly, was safe. Who knows. Regardless, it was an eventful night for photos despite a low score.
Let’s hope the Sox stay competitive down the stretch. I’m looking forward to shooting this playoff race.

We’ve arrived at the final days of the tournament, so here are the best photos from yesterday’s men’s semifinal matches and men’s and women’s doubles championships.
There was so much drama on court, which made for great emotion and energy. Today, we’ve got the men’s and women’s singles final, so be sure to check back for the winning photos!
Photos and Video: BNP Paribas Open – Day 10.

Here is a selection of photos from quarterfinal and semifinal action on the men’s and women’s side of the 2013 BNP Paribas Open. We’re deep into the tournament now, so at this point, the photos become more about emotion and reaction rather than straight about straight tennis action.
Additionally, I’ve posted a video from an incredibly unique opportunity I had to follow Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal as they were escorted from the locker room to the court before their quarterfinal match two days ago.
What I love best about the work that I do is the experiences it allows for. These intimate moments before a sporting event of international interest are rarely seen, and it was incredible to witness that first hand. The entire journey took about three minutes, but it seemed to all happen so quickly. A memorable assignment for sure.
This video I shot and edited follows their journey.
More to come from all of today’s action!
Photos: BNP Paribas Open – Day 6.
Yesterday was another packed day at the BNP Paribas Open. The draws are starting to thin out, so because I’ve got a bit more time with each match, I’m starting to mix things up and get some different angles and looks around court.
I also had the opportunity to shoot a private meet and greet with Roger Federer and Gladys Knight, the “Empress of Soul,” which was a little side adventure.
Another big day today. Enjoy the tennis!
