It’s late here so I’m not going to post much, but here are my selects from a long but fun and productive day of shooting on the first day of the 2014 Championships Wimbledon.

I’m here in London, England, where I’m lucky enough to be photographing my third straight Wimbledon Tennis Championships.

This year, I’m working as a member of the official tournament photography staff, which shoots for both the tournament website, wimbledon.com, as well as for marketing and publications within the All England Lawn and Tennis Club. This is my first year working for this department, so it’s needless to say that I’m thrilled to have this opportunity.

Today was my first day shooting, so I spent it getting my bearings and learning the new system. These photos are a mix of activity out on the practice courts and a few introductory press conferences.
