Red Sox President Sam Kennedy and pitcher Matt Barnes helped debut a new mobile truck at Faneuil Hall today that will bring elements of the Fenway Park experience to communities throughout New England during the 2016 baseball season – part of the club’s “Calling All Kids” initiative to bring children and young adults closer to the game.
“The Red Sox Showcase powered by T-Mobile” is a 15-foot long truck with panels that move to remake the Green Monster wall, and carries a batting cage with personalized walk up music, a virtual reality experience, pitching station, a steal 2nd base challenge, and Red Sox Jenga.
The truck debuted today at Faneuil Hall in Boston.
